I never forget that day. February was a quietly month, but earthquake changed everything and events turned a tragic turn. I remember that I stayed in my bed watching videos. Suddenly, I felt a rarely movement. First, it was a delicate shaking. But after, I left my bed and computer and I ran to the hall of my home. My mom, grandpa and my uncle from Antofagasta found a safe place.
Anybody could sleep that night. But we didn't have any problems with basic services. Electricity, water and gas came back quickly. All my family was so scared. My aunt from Cañete -a city of 8th region- was incomunicated, but after I could talk with her.
Next, I participated in volunteering and done long lasting food and warming clothes for affected people by the earthquake. I recolected boxes for transport all products with my friends. I enjoyed this job, because I thought in families that lost their houses and beloved, and I could help.
Be optimistic and supporty are important for confront an earthquake. Chile is a country of earthquakes. And this catastrophe won't be the first one in my life.
